though they sort of did implement some of Nintendo's ideas in their own ways. Miis, motion control, second screen smart phone/tablet interface/connections. But all of that probably would have been coming anyway.

I actually did like TP alright. It didn't really bother me like it did a lot of other people. I was fine with the art style too, and even the motion controls for the most part.

Never again. Though I did get it for Mario Kart 8 and that free game promotion they had going on at the time. (And WW HD) But that new Zelda was why I jumped the gun.

i am 100% certain that kinect and ps move especially would never have existed were it not for the wii's success, so nintendo's concerns aren't completely invalid (though think more than anything else they're really worried about prematurely killing off what remains of the wii u themselves)

i pretty much bought mine for the same reason, and it helped that it was $200 at the time

and i guess the fact that i figured i would inevitably need one for zelda did factor into my purchase somewhat, but more immediate were mk8 and sm4sh (and 3d world and some other things)
