So I killed Cicero because you can pickpocket him for 500 gold then also get another 500 gold off him after you kill him 

Then I got instantly KO'd by a Frost Dragon on my way to my next quest

i usually don't worry about this. if i'm concerned, i might go to the uesp wiki and look up that particular cave/dungeon and just look at the top of the page to see if it's quest-related
