yeah as disenfranchised as i've felt with pokemon in the past liek 5 years, i can't say im not tempted to buy this just to see a exeggutor the height of the WTC

also looks like hm field moves like fly and surf may be a thing of the past???
solar blade looks like a neat ordinary move so i might get the grass starter just for that
also it seems that a pokemon doesn't have to be the same typing to use a z-move
they just need to know a move of the same type as the z-crystal and hold it
it seems they are moving away from mega evolutions with the alolan forms

I like it in that I like ice types and the pokemon look nice. Obviously competitively ice is kinda crappy since it doesn't resist much.

At least steel is a fairly rare attacking type unless they really added some more useful steel moves. Poor sandslash is going to get wrecked by fire and fighting
