"great, big third-party partners like ubisoft", including:

 • ubisoft

and both ubisoft's """greatness""" and level of commitment to the wii u are questionable at best

let's see how some of nintendo's "great, big third-party" exclusives are doing:

wow

truly impressive, nintendo

for fans of first and third-party titles alike, the wii u is unmistakably the best place to game

to be fair to rodea, all those negative reviews cite the controls as a big if not the biggest problem
But the Wii U version comes with a disc of the Wii version, which is vastly better because its controls are what the game was designed for and the Wii U version is just a bad port of a previously-unreleased game.
Similarly, how bad would a GamePad-only (no Wiimote) Wii U port of Skyward Sword be? Wii Sports?

But that still doesn't speak well of Wii U's library if people will buy this Wii U game just to play the Wii limited edition bonus disc and ignore the actual Wii U game.

Port issues aside, I think I've heard this game is maybe roughly on par with Sonic Adventure 2 in quality? That's not really a good thing, but it's certainly not as bad as a lot of other recent releases have been.
I own this game but I haven't tried it yet
Only controls the problem? Sounds like kid icarus uprising to me

Well, no.

Like I said, if you take away the control issues for the Wii U/3DS ports, it's supposedly roughly on par with the Sonic Adventure games in terms of quality. It has quite a few other issues (like camera), but controls really is the biggest one.

That said, I'm still surprised how well Kid Icarus Uprising scores on Metacritic.

thats what I meant.
granted, I know KI U doesn't have many other problems like rodea seems to according to reviews. but controls were what hurt it most, and that's what I thought you were saying

In Fire Emblem, Tiki is a powerful divine dragon and daughter of what is essentially a god in that world.

In Genei Ibun Roku #FE (SMTxFE), Tiki is... basically that world's Hatsune Miku. She's a digital character for the synthetic vocal software called "Utaloid Tiki".

That said, this reminds me: one of the more memorable silly Smash suggestions I've seen floating around the internet lately is Hatsune Miku. It's just ridiculous enough to be kinda-plausible and she even has two 3DS games hocuspocus;
