Wii U's future isn't that bleak. Its known and potential future/post-E3 releases include:
Confirmed in development:
Xenoblade X
Star Fox 64 U
Mario Maker
Shin Megami Tensei x Fire Emblem (possibly vaporware)

Very likely:
Pokken Tournament
Animal Crossing U
Another Mario 3D platformer
Another HD port

Maybe but less likely: (and IPs with no Wii U presence yet)
Pokemon console game
Pikmin 4
Metroid
Paper Mario
Kirby platformer
And for 3DS:
Fire Emblem (confirmed)
Pokemon (inevitable)
Another 3D remake (maybe)

Last year, they said Yoshi will release in the first half of 2015, which puts it before E3.

But they could delay that too. Considering the state it was in as of last E3, I can't imagine it needing a delay, but who knows.

http://www.vgchartz.com/article/253406/iwata-exchange-rates-preventing-wii-u-price-cut/

i like how nintendo is the only japanese company still using this excuse in 2015

the yen's value has depreciated to like 2/3 of its 2011 peak, even sony who used to love to yell 'muh exchange rates' as its primary means of deflecting blame for its poor performance has stopped pretending that's its biggest problem

in other news, tomorrow's nintendo direct should be fun nyandood;

Nobody's really cared about Mario Party since the N64 anyway tho, so scores on those games don't matter, because all the sales for MP games come from little kids or parents of said kids. If anything, this one will only do worse cause the Wii U itself is so poorly marketed that none of these kids have one.
