well, i didn't preorder y, but that's the one i'm getting. no real point in preordering probably. idk maybe i will just to be safe.

I only preordered since it was $34.99 with free shipping and you bet your ass I'm a cheapskate. Only bad thing is it won't arrive until Wednesday or Thursday.

fire is a type that i'm constantly lamenting over

while i love charmander and his evolutionary line, as well as cyndaquil and his line, that's about where my love for fire starters stops

and as far as other fire pokemon, honestly, though some of them are very cute (vulpix/ninetails, flareon), i never find much use for them. i just don't like them as much as my other pokes, and good fire-type moves are abundant via tms and move tutors and learning via level up anyway. and it just seems like there just plain aren't as many fire types to choose from to begin with compared to the sheer amount of water types, which of course means you'll constantly be facing what your fire buddy is weak against.

it could really just be me, but it seems like there just aren't enough fire types out there idk
