negro i love scizor not only because of his stats and movepool, also because he's just a . it's def true i tend to always try to build a team mostly around really high stats though lol, notable exceptions being raichu and glaceon (diamond only) and charizard

but i def avoid plenty of the strongest ones too and also i dont like using legendaries (but who does?)

well yeah but i mean personally i think you should just win with the pokemon you really like and for me that happens to mostly be pokemon that happen to be really popular competitively. but it's worth noting that, because i don't play competitively, i don't teach my pokes things that would be necessary for such. entry hazards, weather inducers, etc. i just play the single player anyway.

of course, with this new one out, and a lot of people i know getting it, there will be pokemon battles between me and friends, but i'm not gonna be the guy to use smogon tactics against people
