You should take a shower every day because it's nice. If you really dislike them, do it every three days or something. Two weeks without bathing in some capacity sounds unhealthy.
Also you should have less casual sex. And yeah, go get an STD test.

I wash my hair every day, but I have heard that many girls only wash their hair once or twice a week. I was shocked by this, but many of the girls I know that do this have really pretty hair, so I guess that's fine if it works for them.
I guess if you have very long hair shampoo can screw with it and hurt it over it's lifetime? My hair is pretty long for a guy, but I don't think it is damaged. I like how super clean and soft it feels.
And yeah, eeeeee, that makes sense that if you make sure to wash it really well with water often you probably don't need shampoo. Your hair looked interesting in that video-- do you keep it like that all the time?
I find that after two days a filmy residue of oils and grease builds up in your hair. This in turn with pressure and heat, plus elements, etc.. which your head absorbs during the day and sleep, changes the nature and character of the hair. It is no longer fully voluminous or soft, bur rather slithery and sleek, and tends to be unmoldable in any controlled looking way. So I just shower every other day at least. It's not really a big deal to devote a small measure of your time to this routine.

I have this experience as well. I don't really try to shape my hair the way you do, but I make sure it's not in some crazy shape, and it needs to be clean to do that. I also really enjoy showering. I always sing, and often dance as well, while in the shower. It feels great, and it makes shaving easier as well. All around, I give showers very high marks. They're even better when you share them.

I think that shampoo strips your hair of its natural oils. I actually am not even completely sure of this? it could just be conditioner. I don't remember. I Just prefer not to because I like the way it is better without it. Natural hair oils will make peoples hair really healthy looking (when its clean and not just oily).
That's just how my hair is (at this length) when it is other lengths it looks different. When it gets longer it doesn't stick up as much as it does right now. It will just stick up like that though. It falls down when it gets long though, but then it gets curlier i guess

I think it is thick because I have thick hair. Regardless of if I use shampoo and conditioner or not, because I haven't before and still have had thick hair.
Yeah no shampoo/conditioner is good for you hair and allows it to look more natural and everything.
The shampoo and all is actually part of the reason people's hair gets so greasy when they don't wash it for a few days.

Ah yes, I have heard that, and then your hair can be damaged by the sun and other things more easily when it is not protected by natural oils. I remember hearing that a few times.

I have to agree I often stand in there even when I don't have to and shift and position each and this way for an immeasurable result and gain. Not to mention that natural style after you have gone at your heat with a towel, this unruly cool looking thing, that hardly anyone will ever see, and it's always different and changing a bit, and it becomes this neat little secret image. I do not dance or sing in the shower, but on occasion, when I am thinking heavily, I may give a little shiver or a sudden jerk, unintentional and involuntary, at having arrived at some newfound clarity. It's pretty awesome, because I tend to follow this up with a little full conscious idiocies at my own self worth.

I unfortunately have places I need to be in society and a certain belief that requires I invest and deposit little more product into my hair for the desired outcome, and when living in a condition where I don't have to interact with the general public, I'll gladly not spray anything on after I shower. Until then, I don't know, I'd look very lazy in my opinion.

the scoop on shampoo being some serial killer involves two ingredients that "somehow" cause irritations because of sulfates
the other is the harshness of the products use 'strips' the oils in the hair to signal the hair to produce more oils
i dunno some people have successful results
some don't and end up regretting everything
THE MAIN IDEA IS THAT IT'S NATURAL SO EVERYTHING UNNATURAL IS EVIL AND HARMFUL AAARRHGH
i tried the no-shampoo thing but it wasn't successful (because it turns out nothing in shampoo triggers dandruff--what triggers is is hard water for me~BUT WHO KNOWS WHICH MINERAL IS THE ONE THAT IS CAUSING IT)

The first one it probably was oily because In that picture I'm in like a driftwood hut and we had been camping in Northern California for a few days. Lol I was probably pretty dirty. But when it's longer it gets curly, so it looks like that.
I think i was tripping in the 2nd pic! I fixed the last picture, which is what it looks like RIGHT NOW wooooo
Well it's both shampoo and conditioner that remove the oils, and echo's right that using it too often is what makes your hair get more greasy really quickly, which is a problem I've always had. You're mostly right that washing it every day is bad for you, but rinsing it with water and using soap every few days, like once a week or so is supposed to be the best way to do it from what I know. Using soaps without detergent is also a lot better for you. I'm using this stuff now:
(http://mp.hairboutique.com/_images/products/Dr_Bronners_Peppermint_Liquid_16oz_300w.jpg)
You can use it for shampoo, body wash, toothpaste, all kinds of crazy shit, and it's all natural ingredients. Plus it comes in a huge bottle and lasts a long-ass time. There's hilarious religious rantings all over the label too so I like to read those in the shower
i thought the purpose of conditioner was to replace the oils washed away by shampoo

I do not think so. In the first place for some people this is impossible to avoid and in the second place I have seen plenty of people with very fine natural looks who somehow become much more compelling when they seem to absorb a lifestyle of general attitude with the demands of a specific world and radiate out something of their own nature, one that fits and works. That's intriguing to me, so I would hardly call that lazy. But for the sort that shape their hair in a way which is meant to erase their efforts is sort of like being stuck in a quagmire.

That's because you're sober and don't hunt them, with ballistic slung projectiles. What Zoo lets you do that? And please tell me you're not one of those people who goes into the woods wearing shorts?
If I did that I think I'd qualify as a redneck girl;
Only when my basketball rolls into them. But poison ivy also grows up the sides of trees and then there's also the ticks... so many ticks
I have not had a single tick touch me out there Those are all very silly objections. Might as well complain that the water is wet when you dive in for a swim. Also, I will have you know that being a Red Neck is a very good time, as long as you don't get caught.
The first time I was in jail I watched a tick crawl around for like 5 hours.
stop this thread i want to get off

I've had multiple ticks on me and my dog died of lyme's disease. I don't think I'm being unreasonable n_u

I'm not sure how I feel about this sentence.
I think it may be worded to well to include the term "redneck".
fuck ticks, seriously

I want you to feel ambivalent about it. Much like the dubious nature of our fellow hicks.
I have an encounter with a tick at least once a year it seems. I thought they were common.

Like Pennsylvania hocuspocus;

last couple years in minnesota I probably pulled/burned 25 ticks off me, none deer ticks from the looks of em doodhuh;
too much time running around in the woods on drugs
turns out it's jock itch
turrns out i'm really lazy and that the cure was just a salt bath then an application of tea tree oil
it feels really good to masturbate though
BECAUSE YOU'RE ITCHING THE PAIN AWAY
Clucky, you ought to post this type of shit in the IRL board; because when this board becomes public again, it makes the forum look totally not safe for work.
I've just had a Grammar Nazi Emergency.
I feel like you're just making shit up. Really? Tree oil with a bath salt for An itch? I could live for a 100 years and not have or need to do any dumb shit like that.

NO
it's incredibly itchy
it wakes me up at night cry;
and i have a very high pain tolerance
it's not a mosquito-esque itch
it's more like a carpet of bed bug bites that rolled down your inner thighs
and it's just salt water and 2 drops of oil

i'm pretty sure my posts don't make this place more abysmal than what it already is
just look at echo's posts

Oh, and saying that Darwinism eliminated Travis' friends isn't?
Ashley detests Travis and Clucky; it is somewhat understandable.
