I think there is a legit argument Nintendo should just outsource development to third parties, like they've done with the Pokemon main series from the very beginning...
Nintendo's corporate culture just seems to be highly insular and opening it up could work in their favor as opposed to Sega's efforts at spinning off all their development teams as subsidiaries and its resulting decline...

Also with people going out and about with Pokemon Go, it's the resulting news stories that have driven the app's popularity. As opposed to an elaborate dress-up game...

is anyone still actually playing this shit? i played for like the first week, got bored, and then tried to come back to it a couple weeks ago and the escape chance is waaaaaaaaay too fucking high now. and now i'm pretty much over it. kinda want to pop in HeartGold into my 3ds now tho lol
