Starfox Wii U, out before Zelda Wii U

This actually surprised me. Didn't Star Fox have a fixed release date just announced like a couple weeks ago? I didn't think it seemed like the kind of game likely to get delayed.

as recently as august 24, miyamoto proudly proclaimed that star fox zero would be launching on november 20th (despite its lukewarm-at-best reception which nintendo must have been at least partly aware of)

not even a month later, after getting a new boss and being relegated to an advisory "fellowship" role, he suddenly feels they need "a little more time" to "polish" a game that "would be technically possible to release in time for the year-end holiday season"

I can't help but wonder if Kimishima confronted Miyamoto on his tone deafness and forced him and his team to take some of the media criticism into account before daring to ship such an ill-conceived product and further devaluing the Nintendo brand.

though probably what really happened is nintendo realized it'd simply be washed away in a sea of games like halo 5 and fallout and mgs v and tomb raider and cod and rock b& and simply decided to concede holiday 2015 to the competition, meaning sfzero will be exactly the same ugly rushed mess it always has been when if it launches in q1 2016[/spoiler]
