my mom always gets after me about how i haven't entered anything in my checkbook in like a whole year, because honestly i don't see any point in it

i could just go online, go to my bank, and look at a list of transactions to get exactly the same information

does anyone actually bother balancing checkbooks anymore  akudood;

i feel liek we would have more shit to worry about than balancing checkbooks at that point

I'm not even sure what that means. Write out your transactions in a little book?

Anyway, yeah, my credit union (lol we're such socialists in qc ^_^) has a website for that.

yes, the little book that holds all checks in it

Don't be a dick, it's the balance part that's confusing. :'(

Nope. I don't. I can't wait until checks are long gone.

Or at the very least, checks.

I haven't balanced mine in three years because of online banking.   bassir;

careful what you wish for. it just might come true. physical goods is the only 'true'  kind of 'currency'.

It's pointless nowadays. Just like you said, everything is online. I even have my bank as an iPod touch app.
