You guys buy all the Wavebird controllers you needed? I just preordered the Wii U copy with the GCN adapter.

YPrrrr

I hated wavebirds, there always seemed to be a terrible delay

bluaki

I've had a collection of four wavebirds for many years

The wired Gamecube controllers I used to have broke, but none of the Wavebirds have.

The Smash U bundle I pre-ordered does include a wired Gamecube controller.

I personally prefer the Wii U Pro Controller over either.

Samus Aran

i've never experienced any delay with a wavebird???

pro ssbm players dont use wavebirds because of the lag

strongbad

the lag and the fact that they interfere with eachother if there are too many of them in one room since there are only so many channels

and there is definitely lag
they also don't really feel as solid in my hands as a normal gamecube controller imo

Kalahari Inkantation

not to mention the wavebird's complete omission of the greatest controller innovation of the past two decades

I'd use that excuse, I don't think it's pretentious, the reaction from movement of fingers to screen is awful awdood;

I love my wavebird.

3ds demo: so far so good, I just never rest my hands on L or R so those are kind of odd for me. Although I think I'll get used to it.

No offense to her but she kinda doesn't know crap about shit

YPrrrr

Demo is pretty cool.

Only real complaint is that when you hit the A button at the start screen it's the same noise as for Brawl which makes it feel less new
