one weekly thread that is always there and always cluttering up the pinned threads, along with the google+ threads that always show up

i pretty much agree with all of Snorkel's proposals, but I wish we had an actual NSFW forum that was hidden for stuff like Clucky's threads. And on a side note, maybe we should ramp up enforcement of the forum rules and revise them as well.

2. I think that discussing professional sports is a different category from what would be discussed in IRL Land, but idk if the sports discussion here is apparent enough to need a whole board. I'll let people who like sports to decide this

5. I don't really think that we have enough original content coming in to yield a critique board. A sticky on The Arts discussion would suffice for the time being imo, and if it gets enough activity, then I think a sub-forum should be considered.

I gave my precious time to doodthing for this honour and have had 100% multiple times and mostlylike my colour

1. Video game should most definitely be its own board, the anime board would be even more dead if it were put into child board hell.
2. Sports--Own board.  Sleep/Dreams--Real life
3. Serious Discussion --> Philosophy & Scholarly Debate, with some reinstated rules about post content and seriousness--Yes
4. DoD Clubhouse --> 100% Quotaists Union--Yes
5. Critique board good idea or not--Meh, no. 

The boards should be ordered like this:
General Discussion:
The Lobby
Real Life > Market as a child board
Debate
Anonymous

Special Interests:
Arts > Anime
Video Games
Technology
Food
Sports

three board groups is enough for me tyvm, i'd rather just keep important, general and archives.

we've tried it.  and at this point, i think it'd be ever weirder sharing nsfw things with you guys now than it was back when we tried it.

Okay, DoD can stay as it is, it was just an idea.

I would really support Sports being removed... it is by far the most dead board. There are not more than 3 or 4 users who even know it's there. Would a thread about soccer or hockey in IRL Land every once in a blue moon be so bad? Even 1 sports chat thread would be fine for us.

I'm open to renaming IRL Land, though I personally kind of like it. 'Offline Discussion' is still a good candidate.

Fuck the whole critique idea.

Personally, I think Anime should be a child board... it's not really a forum used by anyone except the same handful of people (which is fine because it's actually a decent number), and those people know where it is. As a child board it would still be listed on the board index.

Video Games (wasn't really serious about 'shames') can be third in the ordering, sure. The rest of the ordering I like.

I like it when Anon is up higher. It's more likely to be noticed.

But if we keep anon and video games higher, then the order is basically the same... with 3-4 less boards, it will be easier to look from top to bottom for new posts. That's part of the idea.

I know it's kind of obsessive-compulsive, but even if I know it's from posts in a child board, I don't like having the new posts image of the parent board light up.

The Prosquid board has scarred me.
