Overall, were you satisfied with the Wii?

I enoyed my wii, Nintendo consoles (as much as I hate to admit it) are now primarily secondary consoles for me.

There are a few games I enjoy very much, but overall I'm going to say not really. There's just not as much to play on it, and while I played it a good amount when it first came out it kind of just lost steam and I play my PS2 or other older games more often. I definitely got more enjoyment out of the Gamecube.
The Wii hasn't been terrible for me, just underwhelming.

honestly, i think i was more [glow=black,2,300]satisfied[/glow] with the wii than i have been with any other nintendo home console in the company's history

Metroid Prime 3 was the only game I wanted for Wii anyway 

SSBB and Super Paper Mario were gifts.
SPM being the game that my sister bought with the wii

hmm, i just realized my gamecube exclusives list gets chopped in half when i consider wii ports of pikmin and metroid games

of course the gamecube versions have better control but still

anyway, i guess my gamecube exclusives list is:

melee
pikmin 2 (only pikmin 1 was ported to wii, right)
wind waker
rogue leader
sunshine
paper mario 2
luigi's mansion
double dash
tales of symphonia


whereas my wii exclusives list is:

galaxy 1
galaxy 2
kirby's epic yarn
donkey kong country returns
no more heroes 2

metroid prime 3
mario kart wii
kirby returns to dream land (future release)

i don't know if i can call one more game "a lot more," and even then, there are a lot of non-exclusives that are BEST on the gamecube, like the metroid prime games, pikmin, re4 (sorta), mgs1, soul calibur ii, and so on.

sonic adventure battle 2 is just a slightly enhanced port - can you really call it an exclusive? in addition, at least pikmin 1 was ported to the wii, as were both metroid prime games

GC exclusives are not nullified by a future box which just took their programming and made it its own. That's like saying Sonic the Hedgehog wasn't a Sega Genesis exclusive because it's been re-released on different systems since then. The games designed for the Wii exclusively have been largely disappointing
