Inverted controls on console a FPS?

Do you prefer the y-axis control of your gun to be inverted on console FPSs?

on an related note, i remember using inverted for re4 and re5

i think its because i can see back of the guy im controlling, and therefore can sort of imagine the "lever" in his back or whatever you call it. for some reason with FPSes it just doesnt seem right

i understand what you guys mean but whenever i try to go inverted in an fps i just fuck up

i feel like the other axis needs to be inverted as well

games like metroid prime feel natural with double inversion when aiming only moves the arm and not the player

but when left and right twists the player and up and down moves just the arm, y axis inversion only is perfect

and hiro's chart is just what i mean
