Dude. I asked her to come to a party last night, a Friday night right before a three day weekend right after the first week of school. She told me no because she had too much schoolwork or some bullshit like that again. When I come home from the party at around 1:00, I se her watching a movie in the lounge with a group of people. Guys I think I'm going to try my hand again. Amanda and I haven't really talked much since I asked her 5 weeks ago, but I'm going to try and get closer to her again.

That means starting over though. What happened before winter break obviously doesn't mean anything to her. Sometime this week, I will beg for her to help me with studying for Sociology again, only this time it's more serious because we have a test this week and I haven't paid any attention in class since the first week of the semester. (That class seriously sucks.) If she accepts, we start getting closer. If she doesn't, I'll either try something else, or move on and try to get one of my friends to go out with her. (And if she doesn't go out with him, she will never go out with anyone.)

Advice: Don't overthink it. I myself fall into that trap, but you end up coming off as awkward if you're trying to make it all go according to plan. Just hang out with her and take it as it comes, don't worry about her liking you the same way or not.

If she denies you once, just drop her and immediately find someone else. It'll save you time, money, and keep you from going insane or becoming a JMV.
