To Kill a Mockingbird which I should be doing a report on now.
And House on Mango Street.
iSnake

The Hand That Fisted Everyone

I was about to say Farenheit 451, but I didn't really give it a chance so I should reread it.

To Kill a Mockingbird was ok, it didn't keep my attention that long though. I had to make myself read it.

Albel The Wicked

You guys i wrote a book and im pretty sure it sucked.

Feynman

Title27GT

The Great Gatsby.

If I were to guess, I'd say about 90 percent of the kids in my grade watched the movie for their book report.

The Grapes of Wrath.  It spends like 10 pages talking about a fucking tortoise walking over a bump in a path.  good god

Those short little descriptive chapters aren't even 10 pages. That one was like 4. psyduck;

felt like more.  I could have skipped every other chapter to get the story.  I don't think that great literature should be judged on how much detail the author spends on tiny inconsequential details

Some of them are mostly pointless, and some of them aren't. Some of them are important in reflecting the average person's plight during the dust bowl, not just the main characters. The turtle one was dumb though, even if it was symbolic.

yeah, I don't know.  I can understand why people think it's great, but I don't think the book needs to be that dense

The Speaker Of Words

I liked The House on Mango Street. Maybe cause I'm Mexican. Eh but it's not even that long. You guys shouldn't even be complaining..
I read Fahrenheit 451 when I was in 7th grade and I liked it. I used to like Harry Potter.
Oh and I like Lord of the Flies.

I can't remember the author but everything I've read by him has sucked immensely.
