switch 2 has been extremely meh so far. mario kart is good fun (tho a lil weird in its premise IMO), but since i've already had my fill of all the switch 2 upgrades available at the moment, it's not really doing much else for me. maybe once donkey kong comes out i'll be like "hell yeah", it do be lookin' fun

my biggest issue tbh is switch games that don't have dynamic resolution now look like dogshit on handheld mode (i aint even getting into how shit the screen is compared to the SWOLED lol) on switch 2, 720p -> 1080p upscaling aint it. this of course is likely a problem of nintendo's making considering only like AAAAA studios got access to dev kits for this thing. i assume devs will patch their stuff at some point, but as of writing literally no one except nintendo has yet lol

really cant recommend it to anyone except EXTREME mario kart fans or people who just didn't play like anything on the switch 1 and can now enjoy TOTK or something with some decent performance lol but hopefully in a couple years itll settle in to being "fine", most of their shit usually does
