yeah I would like to feel like I'm actually competent at a decent job

never in my work life have i felt competent and every few months i lewk back and rememver what i had learned in that time  and wonder how tf i managed before then

My ideal life would be scrambling over peoples legs for a chance to lap up the puddles of grease that cling to their fabric, and then go home to help raise and train four itty-bitty turtles while doing a little bit of journalism on the side.

No offense to her but she kinda doesn't know crap about shit

I want to be at a real web development shop someday but I feel like I'm out of my element most days lol
i'm starting a new project that involves stuff i am totally unfamiliar with (Azure Functions in C#) and I asked one of our more senior developers for advice on how to get my feet off the ground. Was basically me watching him Google shit for 30 minutes and be like "yeah that's probably what I'd do" lol

nobody knows shit (I also get anxiety from imposter syndrome despite acknowledging this)
