a video i saw recently made me want to play DS1 again but as a sorcerer since it's apparently easier, but then i was like "oh right, capra demon"

and i was ready to at least start a new game but my trips decided to freeze at the end of the first update out of four instead

welp, failed on the second attempt as well
looks like it's trying to tell me something

i made the mistake of preordering this on amazon thinking i didn't mind waiting five or so extra days to play this. i already regret this decision, but at least i'll be able to play it soon

I took a surprise nasty hit halfway through the fight, but down first try.

Probably one of the easier first bosses in souls.

Fun fight. The music made it intense.

That was an interesting fight. Kinda gimmicky but in a good way.

"touch the darkness inside me" wow this game is already brimming with callbacks (along with that shitty giant tree from das2 (looks like they even ripped the model straight from that game ugh))

first boss was cool but had like no hp which is weird since they give you a bonfire right in front of him

game is great so far, but looks like estus shards and the das2 durability system are back. can't wait to have to wade through corrosive acid at some point, as if the devs are treating your armor as a potential status effect [/spoiler]
