i still don't understand who their target market for these things is

gamers who want something that just 'werks' have been buying consoles for decades, and there isn't a price or content advantage compared to custom built windows pcs either lol

That's why I think it's hilarious when people were thinking that this was going to make gaming on Linux big. I don't see the vast majority of AAA games ever going to Linux in our lifetime (unless Windows goes down) And then all the old games will never get ported to Linux either.

and even if we do end up eventually seeing more linux ports, that's not going to really sell hardware when it's also readily available on windows too lol

let me know when an elder scrolls or half life games goes linux exclusive, only then might the gabecube be truly relevant

I'm pretty sure you've always been able to play steam games on Tv's for a long time now.
