i think for general audiences but we could start with it being boyah-centerd to get a feel for it

obviously we need a separate podcast for competitive melee talk though because i'll be damned if we're going to just fill up an entire cast of smash in general by doing nothing but having strongbad talk about competitive melee

also, how is this even going to be done? obviously almost none of us live anywhere near each other, so...recording skype calls? idk how do people do these lol

are we going to pick a particular game or set of games and just freely discuss them in general, or will it have a more rigid structure where we select a theme and discuss relevant games within the context of that theme or smth

although i guess there's no reason we couldn't do both

also how "niche" are you thinking

i'm happy to discuss zelda but that would be anything but niche lol

we definitely don't need to be niche, and we definitely also don't need to talk about specific games or genres to begin with. i'd also like to talk about general things like the types of storytelling in games, types of game mechanics, game music, art direction, all sorts of various things that "make" games into what they are
