the video announcing this new update went up recently, but we already know everything for this update

Pricing is $4/$5 each for Lucas/Roy, $6/$7 for Ryu (comes with a stage). Dream Land 64 is $2/$3. At this point, buying all the important DLC (characters+stages, including Mewtwo) costs $16 for one version or $20 for both.

There will be a future update in August that, at least, finally adds Tourney Mode.
Additional scheduled updates are:
* YouTube uploading of replay videos
* Hyrule Castle 64 stage
* Peach's Castle 64 stage

and amiibos are announced for Game&Watch, DuckHunt, ROB, Falco, Mii Fighter, Mii Gunner, and Mii Swordsman

The G&W amiibo in particular is interesting because it's a flat removable insert; the figure even comes with alternate ones for other poses.
