played a couple hours of smash 3ds with a friend yesterday
thoughts

DHD was cool
ZSS was probably my favorite character. I like her dair a lot but my friend might have just sucked against it

I was able to fuck him up with Marth just using my skills from melee which was nice. Sure he has new stuff too but he really is mostly spacing oriented

There's a Nintendo Direct presentation focused on Smash Bros for Wii U this Thursday at 6pm EDT.

Nintendo claims that they're revealing "50 new things" for the Wii U version. I expect most of those things to be very minor, but a few of them to be bigger things like new game modes, new stages, improved stage builder, or possibly new (or DLC) characters.
