I got Majora's Mask a little over a month or so ago after looking around for it forever. I had to buy it off of eBay. At first it didn't work, but I figured "Oh, it's probably just from the dust in the envelope", so I got some rubbing alcohol and a Q-Tip and cleaned it out. After a month of not trying to play it at all, I finally get in the mood to play it. So I plug the N64 in, put the game in, and turned it on.

IT FREAKING FROZE UP. THIS SUCKS. I LOOK FOR A GAME FOREVER, AND WHEN I FINALLY GET IT, IT GETS SCREWED UP. emo;

Thats what (I thought) happened with OoT when I got about about a year ago at GameStop, but my brother set up my N64(which I got the same day) and he plugged everything in wrong.  dawkins; Lets remind him red goes in the red slot, yellow in the yellow, and white in the write. flower;

1. Buy it via virtual consoles
2. Emulate it
3. Buy the Gamecube version.
