Have you ever played a tabletop game?

Im talking about Dungeons and Dragons, Warhammer 40k Ascension etc 

last fall semester me and my roommates would play Axis and Allies, Ascension and Warhammer 40k.

Out of those three Axis and Allies was the best.
It would take like 30 minutes to finish one round, but damn it was so fun
one whole game of Axis and Allies would take 4 hours to finish 

also We played Warhammer 40k maybe three times and I played as Tau or Eldar.
one of the roommates didn't get the hang of the game, so I guess that's why we only played it three times

Last time I was RED[always red] and I unintentionally followed the fascist war path (took over all of europe at the beginning of the game, then got destroyed because everyone teamed up against me right after I attacked Russian territory and ended up in South America)

I'm confused, poker, Yahtzee, chess, checkers are all tabletop games. I don't know how Axis and Allies really differs... But I've played that, Risk, Monopoly, etc.

My girlfriend's a fiend for catan. We used to have marathon sessions with a few other friends, something that became sort of a tradition for a while. God, that was fun.

I don't know if that counts.

Focus on wheat and rock first so you can build cities. Double the resources, bitches.
Obviously put your settlements on sixes, eights and nines.

I dunno. Just have fun with it.
