What's your most unobtainable goal in life?

I know we all have some sort of goal and desire for what we get out of life, but in reality some of these simply aren't viable. For me it would to make everyone happy. I mean literally every single person in the world. I know that will never happen no matter how hard I try. So instead I just try to make everyone around me happy. Either through random acts of kindness like buying them lunch or giving away things like video games or something without being asked, and other random things like that. It's nearly impossible to actually achieve that goal too. Even though I would do anything for pretty much anyone, it still isn't going to make everyone happy simply because life throws so many curve balls. The most you can do about those in a lot of the cases is simply to give moral support.

So yeah, what is your most lofty unobtainable goal?

this sorta, like set up my own secret society or buy an island and have my friends live together in an socialist society[even tho the Proper Ground Work has never been settled.] also I want to be a, heh, president and fix the world. i want to ride my bike to lots of places including places across the ocean, i wanna be a journalist sometimesand have the dali llama teach me things in a classroom setting, create a work of music that is worth remembering. i want to move to thailand and live a hermit life, i also want to be Really Good at making food  and there is probably a lot of other things i want to do too


also i would like to spend a brief period of my life as a literal cat.

Yeah, I was going to say a tribal lifestyle might be fun but then again I don't know if that's unobtainable since tribes do exist...

I suppose civilization does impede on that a bit however

I’m constantly thinking about when I’m older. Part of it, is that I’ll have grey hair, and that is my ultimate goal. Another part of why I think of getting older is that when I’m older, someone will respect my opinions. I’ll be able to do or say what I want, and there will (hopefully) be some reverence to that. I want to do things that are somewhat self-indulgent. Things that only I would probably appreciate, but then someone would find a deeper meaning or have it affect their lives personally, thereby giving themselves an attachment to something that was strictly your own, if any of that makes sense.

it seems like most of the time respect is gained over time.

I don't think I'm capable of doing things that garner instant respect from people.
