recently i suddenly wanted to dive into a big-ass shounen again, as that's kinda been missing in my life since db super ended a couple years back

also, i watch a ton of anime of all different types and tend not to have strong biases against things just because they're popular

i watched it as a kid and i cant really remember anything i liked about it. but OK waste your time

it's definitely what people think it is. a really fucking long shounen made for 13 year old boys. its biggest problem is that, like most shows of its ilk, its attempts at comedy are groan-worthy. and naturally a lot of lame filler content is exactly that - bad attempts at comedic episodes. but the other stuff that's there - the characters, the action, the story - i'm enjoying more than i thought i would. it's a decent show.

but it's no dragon ball, fma, hxh, or jojo - all big shounen franchises that are better than this.

i ditched anime & manga, i just got no interest at all
nartoe was the last shounen shit back in 2016- tried getting into bartoe but it was lame

actually well back in 2012/3 i bought watamote manga 1-3 bc i thought the series was so good and rly wanted to support the author & artist bc lol ive never come across a premise done like this series tbh.  i couldnt read them so i just kept them on the side while i read translations online

now, im prob gonna read them for practice if i get back to japanaese lessons lol
