shinsekai yori: started this about a week ago and was watching it at a pretty brisk pace until this weekend. it starts off strong, then dips down, and then suddenly gets really great once you hit episode 9. this show is weird as hell, but i'm really enjoying it a lot. i would honestly struggle to figure out how to sufficiently describe this show to anyone without either being too vague or making it seem too bizarre.

update: this show is fucking fantastic watch it

i can't really put my finger on why i like it so much. kind of reminds me of gurren lagann in the satirical sense but it is also kind of a genuine show at the same time

i finished watching prison school the other day and normally i don't watch too much ecchi (the only other ecchi i've watched was monster musume), though i should. i'm really tempted to read the manga cuz i can't wait for season 2.

one punch man is real good and i like jojo's bizarre adventure, currently watching diamond is unbreakable

definitely read the prison school manga. the anime is a really faithful adaptation but the manga is so, so far ahead and the art is much better and it's just great

then again i have no idea when the next season will come around so if you have the patience you could wait for the anime i guess
