I just remembered my 8th Grade Career day and I wanna know what you guys got stuck with on yours (If you even had one)

I got Doctor, Architect, and Chef

I never heard of it outside of television.

wtf you guys are all doing it wrong.

In 8th grade you pretend you have a job and you look through the classified and pick out a job you'd qualify for and you buy a house and random junk and it's awesome.

In 6th grade your daddy comes in and he's like "hurlo i am so and so's daddy and i sell heroin" and then you give out a free sample and everyone's dad does that. if you're lucky you get fucking custom made backpacks and t shirts and light up pens and free food and a bunch of coupons to good stores and stuff. if you're unlucky like me no one gives out anything.

so...do you guys pretend you have a job and talk about it to the class or something?

We haven't had those, but we've had job shadow days. One in 8th grade and one in 10th.
In 8th I shadowed some dude in Sales and Marketing and in 10th I shadowed my neighbor who is a consultant and i still don't understand what she is supposed to do.
