eh, i think the matrix is pretty overrated and its story is rather nonsensical and fakedeep. still a good movie tho.

I don't think it tries to get too deep until the sequels which were turrible

also just watched "los jefes", a gritty modern expose on mexican society, culture and drug war via the eyes of a rich kid and his common friend after they go looking for bud one day and get tangled up in drug deals/violence.

also fucking oliver stone's 4 hour epic on alexander the great with pussy ass colin ferell and a bunch of other hollywood casts. learned a lot, cool ass battle/landscape scenes from greece to india. favorite part was the depiction of babylon and the mention of illyria/illyrian warriors. alexander was part/mostly albanian from macedonia.

Saw Batman V Superman wit Aubrey
Was never hyped for the movie, think Zack Snyder is shit, thought Man of Steel was okay but honestly thought the movie was pretty solid, 7/10. Did cram too much Justice League stuff into it, and Lex Luthor was p. bad plus a few other issues, but really I think people just wanted to shit all over it. Either that or they somehow had astronomical expectations to be let down so much
