Square Enix announced at the DKΣ3713 event in Japan today that the Blu-ray re-release of Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children would come with a playable demo version of Final Fantasy XIII for the PlayStation 3, according to reports from Famitsu. The disc will also ship with new videos of Final Fantasy Versus XIII and Final Fantasy Agito XIII.

Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children Complete will ship in Japan at some point in March 2009.

I wasn't even planing on seeing it [again sadly], but I guess if I have enough money to import it I will. 


Now I guess this confirms that we'll be lucky to see Final Fantasy XIII in 2009 here.


Also, Final Fantasy Agito XIII and The 3rd Birthday were just announced for the PSP.

Well, they restated that Final Fantasy Versus XIII is still only for the PlayStation 3, but it's also going to be promoting ROEN.

FF XIII isn't going to be released in the US or Europe until the 360 version is finished, so they both can be released at the same time. But the 360 version hasn't even been started yet.
