I can't bring myself to like Star Tropics at all. The controls are really just disgusting.

Other than that, it doesn't have much for RPG elements.

Actually, the only RPG element is that fact you level up.

there are no rules

Playing a role is an element of RPGs, thus the name...Role-Playing Game.

I haven't played the game in a really long time so I don't remember "leveling up."

and fine my reasons for liking mega man 2 and 3 the most are because they're clearly the best of the original ones on the NES and they've got the best music and bosses and levels and they're mega man games god damn it

I actually dont like many NES games but Duck Hunt, SMB3, and Zelda II.

I prefer the SNES
