Um...if they exist, I don't know how they'd work, considering that midi works completely different from mp3. Midi isn't exactly a normal audio format. If said converter did exist, your end product would sound fucking horrible.

Odd...... I thought I remembered converting something into MIDI before....... Well which formats can convert into MIDI?

If I know what midi is, it's completely programed, not recorded, so it's all done by a computer.

Just because they're both audio doesn't mean you can convert them. You can program it yourself but have fun with that.

I could of sworn I converted something to MIDI and it coming out fine....... Is there at least a place that has MIDI versions of songs?

It's possible that by some miracle it could sound cool, but only if you actually like the way midis generally sound on whatever piece (lol "peice") of hardware you happen to have.

It's still pretty damn unlikely that it wouldn't sound like utter shit.

Alright see the MIDI files need an output tone/sound selected. That is why they work on computers and are relatively smaller files. You need a program like Fruity Loops Studio or Sonar Home Recording Studio. These will let you edit the MIDI file and then use the programs Softsynths to export the song into .mp3 format. I know no other way to do this.

The only one I know of that's reasonably good is VGMusic, obviously for video game ones. But by "reasonably good" I mean that almost every single one sounds like shit, because they're of course MIDIs and can only hope to come so close to the original songs.
