I'm going to take advantage of the cheap prices in Gamecube games and buy some Gamecube games.

List good ones besides the obvious first party titles. Is Jedi Outcast good?

Commander Fuckass

Yes Jedi Outcast is good.

also try and get Eternal Darkness: Sanity's Requiem

How about Prince of Persia Sands of Time? F Zero GX? Soul Calibur? Battalion Wars?

Daddy

iWolf

Samus Aran

Yes, Soul Calibur II is pretty awesome, but multiplayer in it is bullshit because anyone can beat you just by button mashing when you're trying to use awesome moves that you spent hours learning.

Also, get Ikaruga.

All of those are good. Prince of Persia is decent, it's awesome at first but then it get repetitive. F Zero is hard as fuck, get it for sure. Soul Calibur II kicks ass, my favorite 3D figher game ever. Battalion Wars looks awesome but I've yet to find it.

Here are all the games I can think of that are fun

F-Zero GX has a nigh impossible story mode, but it is certainly an awesome game. Viewtiful Joe and Killer 7 aren't too bad, either.

Amazing game. thumbup;
The combat is really clunky but the game is just so damn inventive. There's so many "HOLY SHIT" moments that are unlike anything you've ever seen in a game.

Viewtiful Joe is another killer 3rd party game for the Gamecube. It's kind of like an old school beat 'em up, but with time powers and some awesome puzzles and '2.5 D' effects. It's great fun.

Also get Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes, unless you played the original PS1 game. Awesome boss battles, more awesome story.

The rest of the Gamecube's good games are all the obvious first party games and Resident Evil 4.

I actually meant to delete it, I just had a list of games I own and took off the games I didn't like as much

thezerofire

Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker as well.

Everyone else pretty much covered the basics.  And get 007: Nightfire if you have friends you can play a decent fps with (and don't already have halo)
