LANGUAGE OF LEADERSHIP

This is a theoretical examination of the rhetoric of selected 20th century American and British speakers. Speeches of political leaders and those representing a variety of protest movements will be studied. Speeches wll be analyzed in terms of the speaker, the message and the context in which the speeches were presented. Three lecture hours per week.
