From my experience, Harvest Moon actually isn't very unpopular.

I dunno which of these would count as ones that most people aren't interested in, but I play Sonic, Mario, Zelda, Phoenix Wright, Trauma Center, Harvest Moon, Animal Crossing, Pokemon, Mario RPGs, Mario Party, Kirby, Pikmin, and Smash Bros.
