I've been playing Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door over the past week.

All the quests at the trouble center are annoying "bring me this item because I'm lazy" quests. 

I don't remember that. I do remember loving that game though. I didn't think most of the bosses were as memorable as the ones in the first Paper Mario though. But Hooktail and Doopliss are certainly memorable. Oh and of course Rawk Hawk. The whole Glitz Pit thing is awesome.

AND THE SONG THAT PLAYS WHEN "X" CALLS YOU ON YOUR GBA OR WHATEVER WITH MYSTERIOUS CLUES DURING THE GLITZ PIT THING IS THE OVERWORLD THEME FROM WORLD 6 IN SMB3.

Yeah, I hope Nintendo goes back to the Paper Mario 2 formula. That was an awesome game.
