i prefer not to play ports, unless the original doesn't have as much content, in which case it's not really a straight port anyway. updated, re-released versions i will typically get over the original unless there's a significant reason to play the original as well. in which case i'll play both.

imo there's nothing wrong with ports unless they're somehow worse than the original game

in fact, i'd say that most of my pre-n64 games are ports or remakes

Uh, I have the gamecube version as well and aside from the rare few seconds of minor lag, I haven't had any real issues with the game, despite hearing people complain about it so much. I read that most of the problems go away if you play it on the Wii.

I loved the entire game, probably more than the first. There are some frustrating parts in the game but still it was pretty good.

Can't wait for Dead Space 3 if there's going to be one
