What's your favourite Metal Gear Solid game?

I loved Metal Gear Solid 3 Subsistence, in my opinion it had the best gameplay out of them, and the new camera angle was awesome.

Sons of Liberty, but I might give Subsistence a try, seeing as how you two are speaking highly of it.

Sons of Liberty was such a mindfuck, but oh god I loved it. Subsistence ditches the overhead camera in favor of a much better third person one, the story makes a lot more sense without losing any depth, and there's a lot of new stuff like the camouflage system. It's also a lot longer. It's pretty much better in every way possible. caterpie;

Oh god yes. I was lost by the end of the game, but still loved it. I didn't real give the story that much thought either. I just played it. I might understand the story and whatnot better now if I go back and play it again.
