I turned on my Mac this morning, only to be greeted by a loud "VROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOEEEEEEEEEEOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMMMMMM." I thought my little baby was dying, so I got scared. It was as if I was trying to boot off a LiveCD or something because it was so loud. :'(

It took about 5 minutes to quiet down, BUT WHAT WAS WRONG WITH MY BABY? :'(

Nope, it booted up just fine this afternoon. spam;

I think the problem was that I turned the heat on just seconds before I turned on my Mac, and the current blew into the little vent.
