You can go to the Elite four. To get the HM, beat the 8th gym (Talk to that bitch on the beach, then go to gym, then talk to her again.)

So you just set them free? Go to Mount Coronet and get Palkia or Dialga. Make sure you have loads of items, because once you get up there, you can't leave and the professor won't heal you.
