It's finally gotten cold here but this year has been a giant disappointment in terms of precipitation and it doesn't t seem likely to change in the next week and a half  madood;

It is very unlikely but I suppose on Christmas there is a projected low of 34 with a chance of rain so I guess it's technically possible it might snow in the dead of night?

It would melt immediately though so it's still going to be green on Christmas morn

I would say most likely, at least a little bit. There's snow on the ground right now, and it's supposed to snow again in a few days. It could all melt before Christmas I suppose but I think more likely there'll be at least a little snow left.

Of course, I'll actually be further north for Christmas, where it's more likely there'll be much more snow.

it hasn't snowed properly where i live for like a year or something now, there was snow forecasted last week but we didn't get any in the end. not looking too good.

Snow is nice for one day a year and then it can go away again

You're going to be a snowbird and return to AZ every winter once you turn 55, aren't you

Psh no, I'm just gonna live in a warm climate year round. I'd love to visit Wisconsin every Fall though

That's what makes it good.  You could always try to ride metro, I guess.
