unless you have the unfortunate happenstance of living on the peninsula, bart extends pretty far into the east bay and even kind of goes to the outskirts of san josé.  if you live on the peninsula you can just ride caltrain which is better than bart anyway.  rip if you live north of the ggb though

It's food scene is also diverse and good you just have to know where to look
Because of its compact nature you don't have to drive everywhere and you can walk if you really want to
Tech bros in fleece vests are easy targets

Walking in SF sucks. I don't need to be accosted by a homeless guy every block.

It's kind of pretty I guess. Looks better from a bird's eye view than the ground though. Harder to see all the poverty and excrement. I guess it does have nice natural areas nearby outside of the city itself
