AP Psych is overly boring and extremely easy.

I remember the amsco book we used in world history. I think I still have it laying around my room somewhere.
For me I am currently reading textbooks, then for fun The Divine Comedy, Breaking the Spell Religion as a Natural Phenomenon, and Atlas Shrugged.
I really have no time for personal reading though it kinda sucks
The Jungle, because the people in my group are gay and want to read about meat packing
i guess i'm gonna have to start reading lord of the flies soon because we got it today in english

But the Jungle was a highly important piece of fiction in the development of the progressive movement, and it's also really graphic and awesome and things, though not as clearly socialist as the author would've liked.

I loved that book, it flew by for me in a matter of a few hours. It's pretty entertaining compared with some of the stuff you have to read for English

I read the Catcher in the Rye before that in English class. It just wasn't even comparable:[

We're reading Grendel at the moment, but all the morons keep complaining about it being 'hard'. huhdoodame; I don't see how they are finding it to be difficult, though, I must say it's completely uninteresting. Good thing my teacher is considering throwing it out because of the morons who seem to be incapable of reading at grade level. n_u
It makes me wonder if I should have signed up for AP Lit instead, but I decided against it. Though, it was quite annoying being asked nearly everyday why I decided against taking it for the first two weeks of school. akudood;

i hope his mom really did get decapitated because that would somewhat help redeem the 200 pages of him fishing that could have been compressed into about 5 pages.

Writing essays in the span of a single class period aren't my thing. From my understanding, the teacher is quite fond of them. n_u

I know. Hopefully the fact that I most likely won't get to know the professors in college, it'll help me ignore my constant thoughts about my essays sounding like a moron wrote them. myface;

Well basically all of my exams have about 15 multiple choice questons coupled with an essay in a time period of 50 minutes

That's a long time, depending on the length, (presumably 5 paragraphs)

Yeah it's really not that bad... I don't see how 30 multiple choice and short answers can be done in addition to that though. 30 multiple choice takes a substantial amount of time

But still, most in-class essays I've done took the whole class, aka 2 to 3 hours. No multiple choice questions, you just look at the statement and write the damn thing.

The hardest part of writing it in class is figuring out how to start the paper off. (And planning it out ahead). That only takes a moment, too.

The Time Traveler by HG Wells: Holy shit, this book is amazing, and short (like 92 pages)
The text books I'm reading are:
- The Holocaust (3rd edition) by Donald L. Niewyk
- The Nazi Holocaust by Ronnie S. Landau
- The Norton Reader (12th edition) by Linda H. Peterson & John C. Brereton
- Connect Core Concepts in Health (11th edition) by Paul M. Insel & Walton T. Roth
- Communication: Making Connections (7th edition) by William J. Seiler & Melissa L. Beall
However, I am reading one book on the side at my own leisure. It is
Frozen Fire by Bill Evans and Marianna Jameson. bassir;
