my grandmom calls it tonic
It's soda.
Soda sounds more natural to me but I usually just call it by whatever the actual drink is called. I think when I was younger though I used to just call it coke.
Pop.
Its just a term I've grown to use.
Soda. Just comes out more naturally.
My relatives in Colorado all call it pop. My family here in New Jersey/York call it soda
both soda and pop sound weird to me because everyone here says pop but I grew up hearing soda from my mom
I say pop though
i usually say "pop" when speaking, but usually use "soda" typing or writing
so i voted pop
Soda or rarely soft drink, if that's how the restaurant is calling it.
Soda. People who call it pop are fags.
Like people from Rochester, for example.
Liqueur. n_u
Carbonade.
I grew up saying pop, but I'm trying to call it soda now. But sometimes it slips out. saddood;

the real questions are with subs and sprinkles.
Some people call them like.. heroes, and hoagies, but they're subs.
And sprinkles are sprinkles, not "shots" or "jimmies".
Seriously, wtf, jimmies?

Alright, alright. When I don't call it liqueur, I call it coke. Soda and pop are practically nonexistent here; I've said it in a similar thread before, the only thing we call soda is cream soda.
Yeah, even in conversations in French we say it in English. hocuspocus;
