What do you call the generic name for a soft drink?

protip: it's soda

heltar

Samus Aran

Minnesota has unfortunately led to me usually calling it "pop."

But I call it "soda" when I'm around non-midwesterners.

And by the way, it's soda pop.

don't let's

Soda sounds more natural to me but I usually just call it by whatever the actual drink is called. I think when I was younger though I used to just call it coke.

Nate

Pop.

Its just a term I've grown to use.

Kingmush

Soda. Just comes out more naturally.

Travis

My relatives in Colorado all call it pop. My family here in New Jersey/York call it soda
