Fedora and Ubuntu both use GNOME for the default GUI. Both are equally easy to use. psyduck;

So then what's the difference? gonk; v; Also, really quickly, the Wubi site says something about a Windows installer, but the computer I'm setting up as no OS, would it still be easier to install with Wubi?

THE WHOLE DAMN THING. LISTEN, IF YOU WANT TO DOWNLOAD 64684681GB OF IMAGES AND BURN THEM TO TEN DIFFERENT CD'S, PURCHASE STUPID SHAREWARE JUST TO MAKE A NEW PARTITION AND GO THROUGH TEN FUCKING HOURS OF INSTALLATION STEPS THEN BE MY GUEST. I'M FUCKING SHOWING YOU THE BEST AND EASIEST WAY TO INSTALL THE MOST USER-FRIENDLY LINUX DISTRO AND YOU CHANGE THE SUBJECT BACK TO A STUPID DISTRO LAWLZ JUST DECIDED TO MENTION?

jesus recess peices

WHY DIDN'T YOU SAY SO EARLIER! argh; Anyways, I would like to know about both systems, but now your argument makes me want Unbuntu (not because of that GNOME -6.0 thing :|)

If you want to install it on a computer without an OS, download the Ubuntu CD image, burn it and then boot from it in the computer; or order a CD.

I doubt Lawlz has Fedora installed on his Mac, but I have Ubuntu install on mine and I'm very happy with it. One of the best things I've done to this computer since upgrading RAM.

IT CAN ACCESS THE INTERNET AND STORE FILES, ISN'T THAT ENOUGH?

Think of it this way: unlike yourself, nobody's going to be using any other shit.

What about some image-editing, audio CD burning, DVD viewing, multitasking, email, chatting, and music?

WHICH YOU CAN DO ALL AT ONCE ON LINUX.

Today's teenage race only cares about the internet, specifically myspace and msn, and music.

God damn, nobody cares about the specifics.

Today's teenagers' computers should all be infected with computer viruses for not taking advantage of the heavenly piece of hardware that we use today.

Probably because you just PM'd her/him/it to tell him whatever you want; or she's just a Fedora-fanboy.
