i bought a PAX Era recently to replace my coil-based dab pen, and jesus this is the future of cannabis. i liked my dab pen, but it was kind of an ordeal to put wax on before i'd hit it each time. this thing has oil cartridges (slightly more $$$ i think) that don't leak and are always ready to go, and the thing dispenses vapor by you inhaling, so you don't even have to press a button. it even connects via bluetooth to a phone app where you can change the settings lmao. i don't even want to get high sometimes but it is so fun to hit that i am hitting it quite a bit.

i've been loving getting ripped and cycling/climbing/vidya but it is kind of fucking up my sleep so i should probably cool it sometime soon

Several months ago I was prescribed dronabinol, which, unbeknownst to me at the time, happens to be the one and only cannabis derivative federally approved for medical use (by actual certified doctors, not shady """dispensaries""" masquerading as """"""health"""""" """"""clinics"""""").

My doctors didn't so much as hint as to what it was before prescribing it to me, and boy was I in for a surprise when I took that first dose.

i didn't figure out wtf was going on until i read the warning label after finding myself feeling quite strange:

and that's when i learned that it's literally just 100% purified thc lol

so dronabinol happens to be my first and only experience with cannabis or its derivatives to date

a friend of mine brought one of these up for PAX East, but it took leaf instead of cartridges. Really nice, but it always seemed to fuck up in minor ways.

There are different kinds of highs. I'm not surprised that THC concentrate just made you groggy. There are strains that make me feel super lucid and creative.

i used to have an mflb and i regret getting rid of it tbh. i had the power adapter too which turned it into a pretty powerful vape. also had the concentrate tray so i could smoke oil out of it lol
