short enough to feel short on the internet but not enough to feel short irl? does that make sense?
it's not the first thing ppl notice about me anyway

also it depends where you live. In Wisconsin where there's a bunch of Germans and Scandinavians I never really felt that tall and I was never the tallest person in a crowd

Now I live 10 minutes from Mexico and I feel like a giant. I will be in a a club of 100+ people dancing and clearly be the tallest person there and it's weird

Isn't that about average or maybe slightly above average for guys? Why is everyone on the internet so tall

I'm sorta self-conscious and worried about being too tall. I feel like it makes me stand out when I want to pass as a woman. My height bugs me for other reasons too; I'd even rather have a below average (for girls) height tbh.

but the difference between 5'9" and 5'8" is so tiny as to be completely unnoticeable irl
